Read All About It!!

The children have all been very excited this term and the newest copy of the 'Red Oak Journal' is available for download. 

Most articles are suggested and written by the children themselves, with very little adult influence. Some children have been involved in checking copy for spelling errors, deciding on layout and finding suitable pictures. This makes for a very varied selection of topics.

This term, Newspaper Club will become an after school group. We are hoping this will enable children to attend more regularly and have a full hour to work. If your child attends, why not get them to become ‘newshounds’ and look for interesting stories.

Most of the work except the final editing and some tweaking of the layout was done by children in their role as editors.

The club are already hard at work with plenty of new material for the next edition.
