Lost Property
Everything changes in education, at an alarming rate. The one thing that never alters is children.
Children are very bad at keeping track of their property (unless it is their most prized possession) – and why not, they don’t have to buy things!
Already, we have recovered at least thirty Red Oak sweatshirts from the Key stages 1 and 2 lost property – all UN-NAMED. These will be washed and kept in school. We also have many other items of uniform and PE kit which cannot be reunited with their owners as it is not labelled.
We also have a few coats, many of which appear to be brand new.
We know money does not grow on trees, and we are sure you’d like them back.
To avoid similar problems in future, most garments have a label which can be written on. You can use a normal biro, which may wash off over time, or you can buy an indelible marker for less than a pound.
Call in and have a look at our collection – you may spot a long lost item.
