🌟 Exciting day in Reception! 🚜🌿 Reception were extremely lucky to have a tractor visit yesterday as part of their British wildlife topic. The children loved getting the chance to sit in the driver’s seat and were amazed comparing their height to the humongous wheels! 😄🌾 A wonderful hands‑on experience they won’t forget! 💚

🌟 2RE have had a busy and fantastic week so far! 🌟 Our brilliant pupils showed amazing resilience and perseverance as they performed a play they wrote themselves on stage at the Marina Theatre — such an incredible achievement! 🎭✨ They also had a wonderful time at Union Farm, meeting lots of different animals and even feeding the lambs. 🐑💛 The class explored a real working farm and loved getting the chance to sit in and on various farm vehicles! 🚜😄 What an unforgettable week of learning and adventure! 🌾📚🌟

F.I.S.H Are you a family that who would benefit from receiving free 2-course meals during the Easter break at various locations and churches around the town? The families can arrive together, eat together, and enjoy some crafts. There is hope for budgeting support and CA workers at some venues, but the promise is free food and friendly volunteers for the whole family to enjoy. We were so impressed and proud to hear that Andrada has been training with Olympic Team GB gymnast Georgia-Mae Fenton! Georgia is a 3 times Commonwealth Games gold medalist and a European champion/gold medalist! Well done Andrada! 🤩

Reception wanted to share some fantastic news from this week! 🏊‍♂️ George has achieved his Level 1 in swimming, and we couldn’t be prouder of him! ⚽ Isabelle won Player of the Week at Little Kickers! Such an amazing achievement! Well done to both of them for trying so hard — keep it up, superstars! 🌟💙💖

Congratulations to our two Year 6 girls’ football teams for playing some great football today at the ALT North Suffolk Schools’ Cup Championships. Our A team won the A League cup 🏆 and our B team won the B League cup🏆! 🤩 We are very proud of all of our players for demonstrating great teamworking skills and for always training incredibly hard in their weekly after school training sessions. Well done to Ama who was selected by the high school sports leaders as one of the two players of the tournament.

Well done to our two Year 6 football teams for playing some great football at the ALT North Suffolk Schools’ Cup football championships which was held at Red Oak last week. Our B team finished in joint 2nd place overall with the Grove B team in the B League to win the B League silver medals and our A team finished top of the league in the A League to win the ALT Cup and the A League gold medals. 🥇 🏆 We are so proud of all of our super footballers for demonstrating great teamworking skills and sportsmanship. ⚽️😊

✨ Year 1 had a fantastic day! ✨ Yesterday we were visited by Josh from the Seagull Theatre, who delivered an amazing drama workshop for our Year 1 children. They absolutely loved getting involved in a variety of role‑play activities, using their imaginations, building confidence, and developing their storytelling skills. 🎭💬 A huge thank you to Josh for inspiring our young learners — we can’t wait to welcome you back again! 🌟

Reminder for Year 4 parents/guardians: Please can Year 4 children come to school wearing their normal school uniform tomorrow (Wednesday) for their school photographs. Please get your child to bring their PE kit and trainers in a bag so that they can get changed in the afternoon for their PE lessons. Thank you for your support ☺️

Well done to our two Key Stage 1 skittleball teams for playing some great skittleball at the ALT North Suffolk Schools’ Skittleball Championships which was held at Red Oak this week. Our A team finished 3rd in the A League and our B team finished 3rd in the B League to win the bronze medals. We are so proud of all of our players for their super effort. 🤩😊 🥉 🥉

🌟 World Book Day Fun in Nursery! 📚✨ Our Nursery children had an absolutely wonderful time dressing up for World Book Day yesterday! From brave superheroes to magical storybook characters, their costumes were fantastic and their excitement was contagious!

Thank you to our Year 6 Junior Sports Leaders for supporting our staff with running the ALT North Suffolk Schools’ Skittleball Championships this week. Our role model Year 6 student leaders helped to referee games, set up game courts, carried out score keeping during games and they supported the Key Stage 1 students who were taking part from a number of schools. We are so proud of our leaders for all of their hard work and dedication in helping to organise, run and lead this event for their local community. 🤩

Wow!….Our super student Cloie has been very active lately. In the past few weeks, she has achieved her Level 3 for gymnastics, her 200m distance swimming award and a distinction level for her dancing exam! 🤩 💪 We are so proud of you Cloie, you are a star! ⭐️

Dolcie recently entered the United Twirl England East Area competition. Dolcie entered 3 competitions on the day, competing against other children of a similar age. Dolcie placed 1st in her Lyrical dance, gaining Area Champion, coming home with the 1st place trophy along with 2 bronze medals for her other performances. Well done Dolcie! A wonderful achievement and we are so proud of you! 👏 🤩👍☺️ 🥇 🏆
